March 2010: the time has come - the first new models.

For the introduction of our silicon spring presented at the end of 2009, we are resorting to our tested models DC66/DC67. The inconspicuous Si imprint on the dial indicates a special feature inside of the watches. The components of the escapement on the ETA caliber 7750 used in the watch are replaced by the EPS® silicon spring developed by us, which works together with a screw balance. The balance bridge is also newly made and replaced for secure positioning of these two components. The newly developed stud and stud carrier serving for take-up of the outer terminal curve of the spring. The spring barrel was also exchanged - into a stronger variant of the main spring, for optimal power reserve and chronometer quality. In the same way, the rotor along with the newly developed micro-ball bearing with ceramic balls manufactured in-house by Damasko is also being used for the very first time. The bearing is characterized by a very low running noise, lubricant-free movement and an unlimited operating life. The fact that the modification was implemented in the right place is documented by the movement rates, which fulfil chronometer quality without any problems.
The models are rounded off by our unpretentious design with distinct design elements, which are reflected in our red highlight, seconds hand and imprint. A special highlight is also the strap with a touch of red, which is available in two variants.
